Itinerary idea
Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.
-
Your private driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Unwind, then tour the city with your private driver and guide.
-
Head back to the airport this morning with your private driver for your flight to Calama, where you’ll be met and taken to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Start exploring this small desert town under your own steam this afternoon. In the evening, go stargazing with a professional local astronomer — the altitude here makes for crystal-clear skies.
-
Eat breakfast while watching the sun rise over the fantastical rock formations of the Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), then spend the afternoon relaxing at your hotel.
-
Take a guided tour of the desert’s altiplanic lagoons and salt flats, home to flamingos and other birdlife like the puna plover. You might also see geysers in action.
-
Fly to Puerto Montt in Chile’s Lake District, where your private driver takes you to your hotel in the lakeside town of Puerto Varas. This evening, dine overlooking Lago Llanquihue and its snow-capped stratovolcano, Osorno.
-
Explore the volcano and surrounding Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park by 4x4 with your private guide. Or, we can arrange for you to go rafting, kayaking or cycling.
-
Today, go hiking in the temperate rainforest of Alerce Andino National Park with your private guide.
-
A day of travel, as you’re driven back to Puerto Montt for your flight to Punta Arenas. From here, you’ll travel south to reach Torres del Paine National Park and get your first glimpse of its mountains.
-
You can explore the park in so many ways, and many are included in your stay at Patagonia Camp — you’ll meet nightly with your guides to arrange the activities that most appeal to you. Some options include river bank fishing, kayaking, and hikes to lookout points and waterfalls.
-
A second day of exploring the park — you might hike to the base of the three granite Torres (towers) or take shorter walks through caves or alongside the Grey Glacier.
-
You’re back to Puerto Natales in time for your flight to Santiago, where you’ll likely stay overnight at the airport depending on when your international flight leaves.
-
Board your return flight home.
