Rooms
The hotel features free-standing cabins. Each cabin has its own private bathroom and hot shower and decks for wildlife and birdwatching. Rooms have no electricity, but the common area has solar-powered lights.
Location
Nestled in a rainforest overlooking the Pacuare River. The lodge is situated near the town of Siquirres in the Limón province.
Food and drink
Meals are prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the agricultural produce of the region. Given the lodge’s remote location, the dining experience is communal, often served in a rustic, open-air dining area that overlooks the river and the surrounding jungle.
Facilities and activities
Rio Vista provides access to hiking trails as well as wonderful views over the Pacuare river. Additional activities such as zip-lining and waterfall hikes are included in the package. However, the main adventure is in getting in and out of the lodge, where you raft down the river with some of the most experienced guides in the country.
