My passion for travel began in third grade during a social studies lesson about European history. As I learned about the castles, battles, and monarchies of Western Europe, I was captivated. I made a promise to myself that one day, I would visit these extraordinary places.
That dream came true when I studied abroad for a semester at Lorenzo de' Medici Institute in Florence, Italy. During that time, I explored Europe extensively and discovered a sense of wonder, belonging, and curiosity that has continued to fuel my journey ever since. My travels have taken me across the world and back, inspiring me to share that same joy and discovery with others. This passion led me to become a travel specialist, starting with organizing group trips and freelancing, and later specializing in accessible travel.
Today, I bring my deep love for Spain and Portugal into my work, helping others create unforgettable experiences that reflect the magic of my own adventures.

What's your most vivid travel moment?
When we arrived in Porto, Portugal, we turned the corner as we exited the train station and saw Miguel holding a sign with my name on it. He greeted us with a huge smile and a playful joke, saying, "The best part of your trip is here," referring to himself. Over the next few days, Miguel became more than our driver, he became our friend and personal guide to Porto, sharing stories about his hometown that made the city come alive. On our second day, Miguel drove us beyond the busy city to the breathtaking landscapes of the Douro Valley. Sitting in the passenger seat, I watched the steep terraces and rolling vineyards unfold like a postcard, with music playing softly in the background. We visited two wineries, learning about the rich history of the region, and ended the day by watching the sunset cast its golden glow over the valley while sipping on all the flavors of Port wine.

Where would you love to travel next?
Iceland has been at the top of my bucket list for years. When I graduated from university in 2019, I chose to go to Vietnam instead of Iceland and while I stand by that decision, Iceland has been at the forefront of my mind ever since. The country’s incredible mix of volcanoes, glaciers, and waterfalls creates a stunning and otherworldly landscape unlike anywhere else. I would love the opportunity to stay in a bubble hotel and see the Northern Lights, soak in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon, and discover the dramatic vistas of the Golden Circle.

Your best piece of travel advice?
My best travel advice for visiting Spain is to embrace its incredible regional diversity. Each autonomous region — like Catalonia, Andalusia, Basque Country, and Galicia — feels like a unique country with its own traditions, cuisine, and even language. For me, discovering flamenco in Seville, pintxos in Bilbao, cider in Oviedo, and Gaudi’s masterpieces in Barcelona are unforgettable highlights. Take time to explore beyond the big cities to fully experience the heart of each region.
