The Olivar Suites

Corfu, Greece

Set in a converted 18th-century olive oil mill surrounded by an olive grove and overlooking the Ionian Sea, The Olivar Suites seamlessly blends classic Corfiot architecture with contemporary elegance. This rich heritage is evident all across the grounds. An ancient olive tree greets you in the lobby, while the bar sits in a traditional building that originally housed the oil press. The hotel is comprised entirely of low-rise buildings to blend harmoniously with the landscape, with natural materials and earthy tones used throughout the decor.

The suites themselves are designed with privacy in mind, offering spacious layouts, and private pools or terraces. This emphasis on leisure also extends to the facilities. The resort has direct access to the beach, and there’s a large outdoor pool surrounded by loungers. Meanwhile, the spa has an array of soothing and rejuvenating treatments to choose from. For meals, a beachfront bar and all-day restaurant provide locally sourced Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.

OUR OPINION:

We love the feeling of seclusion you get at The Olivar Suites, with the soothing sound of waves and the breeze through the olive trees. It’s almost like you’re staying in a chic and spacious Corfiot village.
