One of our most popular hotels in an ideal location to explore Rome. The roof top terrace is the best place to be as the sun sets over the Roman hills and city. Great for families too.

Rooms

The rooms and suites vary in style — all are tastefully decorated. Some have a contemporary feel while others are classically Italian. Spacious and comfortable all rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, and TV. There are a variety of room types including prestige, junior suites, and family rooms with interconnecting doors. Dome view rooms overlook St Peter’s dome and are on the sixth floor. Most of the rooms have small balconies facing the street which is a rarity in Rome.

Location

The Marcella Royal hotel is situated in a residential corner of the city of Rome, within walking distance to some of the city’s main attractions, including the Spanish Steps and Villa Borghese.

  • The buffet breakfast is served in the Panorama Room overlooking the city, or during the summer months, you can wake up and enjoy breakfast on the roof garden terrace.
  • The roof terrace also serves as the site of the hotel's restaurant in the evenings and while it can get crowded, it offers lovely views of the city.
