Relais de l'Ankarana

This little property is a basic lodge located just outside the Ankarana Special Reserve.

The six wooden rooms here are simple; three rooms have hot water and private bathroom facilities. Inside the rooms are simply furnished with double or twin beds and a small sitting area. There is a small central building which acts as a restaurant and reception and has open sides to allow in the breeze.

The hotel is set overlooking vast savannas and the small restaurant offers good panoramic views. On arrival, the hotel and its grounds look a little stark but given time the gardens will start to establish themselves.

The staff here have basic English but cannot do enough to help and ensure you enjoy your stay.
