Pangkor Laut Resort

Located on a private island three miles off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca, Pangkor Laut is a privately owned island covered in lush primary rainforest. As the only resort on the island guests here can enjoy luxury in an unspoilt setting with secluded beaches including the Emerald Bay.

The 140 villas are either 'hill' or 'garden' which are nestled among the rainforest and gardens, 'beach' which are closer to the beach (but not directly on the beach) or the resort's signature, stilted 'sea' villas. There are also 'spa' villas which are similar to the sea villas but are located within the part of the island that is home to the luxurious spa. All the villas are stylish with good facilities and a spacious layout.

In addition to the main resort there are eight amazing estates with two, three or four bedrooms.

The award-winning resort has a world-renowned spa, a gymnasium, two swimming pools and several excellent restaurants to choose from.

To make exploration of the island and the resort's top class facilities easier, there are minibuses to ensure that you can move between various parts of the resort at will. The beautiful main beach, Emerald Bay, is a walk or short minibus ride from most of the accommodation. For those with island fever, it is possible to explore nearby Pangkor Island or visit the mainland at Lumut.
