Audley’s specialists have prepared some sample itineraries, grouping the destinations together to allow clients to explore more than one country on their vacation.
In ‘Belgium Grand Tour with Luxembourg’, clients explore the Flemish-speaking region of Flanders, the francophone region of Wallonia and Luxembourg. Clients spend time among the fairy-tale turrets of Bruges, wandering its cobble streets and exploring the many canals. They also explore the coast of Flanders by bike. In capital city Brussels they enjoy the international atmosphere and cultural charms. In Wallonia clients learn about World War II’s Battle of the Bulge. They then visit the up-and-coming and recently revitalized industrial hub of Liège before finishing in Luxembourg City, where visitors walk the many green pathways that wind around the base of the fortified old city as well as visit its cliffside tunnels and caves.
