Camp Kwando

Camp Kwando

Mudumu & Nkasa Lupala National Park, Namibia

Camp Kwando is situated on the banks of the Kwando River surrounded by riverine forest and open woodland.

The main lodge consists of two spacious thatched areas housing a dining room, living room with big leather sofas and lots of books and bar overlooking the Kwando River. Outside a big deck overlooking the river is ideal for relaxing or enjoying lunch above the water. There is also a good sized pool.

The camp has three tree-houses and ten thatched chalets. The chalets are more rustic than the tree-houses but still very comfortable; each has a large bed with crisp white linen, en suite bathroom and private balcony overlooking the river.

The tree-houses are slightly further away from camp than the chalets and all overlook the river. They are built on stilts and are simple but elegant with polished wooden floors, four-poster beds, large en suite bathrooms and private balconies.
