Little Sossus Lodge is located 35 km southeast of Sesriem, surrounded by the Nubib, Tsaris and Naukluft mountains with views of the distant dunes in the west.

The main area of the lodge is an old farmhouse converted into a homely communal area where you will experience a friendly and welcoming ambience. All areas are open plan inviting you to wander around freely. On the shaded veranda you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cozy lounge is decorated with ethnic African decor and comfortable leather sofas.

The 16 homely chalets, all built from local rock and blending in with the environment are simple yet very comfortable. All have standing fans, mosquito nets and en suite bathrooms with showers. Four of the rooms are family units with two sets of twin beds and one shared bathroom. As the lodge has an eco-friendly emphasis all the bathroom products are environmental friendly and where possible the lodge is run with assistance from a wind generator.

The main activity from Little Sossus Lodge is the popular trip to the giant dunes at Sossusvlei. Sundowner drives/nature drives are also a delight with some spectacular mountain scenery as your backdrop, and those wanting to explore the Naukluft Mountains can also arrange guided trips to this area.
