The Hummingbird is a small, boutique, six room bed and breakfast situated on Bluff Beach, a stunning and unspoiled beach that stretches for 7 km (4.3 miles) and is known as one of the most important Caribbean nesting beaches for marine turtles.
Surrounded by nature, The Hummingbird is 'off the grid', using solar-powered electricity and filtered rainwater. There is a small pool and a bar on site where you can enjoy the ocean views while sipping on your drink.

Rooms
With a rainforest backdrop, the property consists of two detached bungalows, each made up of two individual suites. There are also two rooms situated on the ground floor of the owner’s house. All rooms have a private patio overlooking the ocean and garden.
Location
The lodge is situated on the biggest beach on the island called Bluff Beach. Although the beach isn't a swimming beach you can relax on the golden sand or walk along the coast. The nearest airport is in in Bocas del Toro, just 10 km (6 miles) away from the lodge.
Food and drink
The hotel has one restaurant serving Central American dishes with vegetarian options available. The bar is located within the restaurant and serves hand-crafted cocktails.
