Welgelegen

Cape Town, South Africa

This boutique property comprises two 19th century houses in an established Capetonian neighborhood. Both have been beautifully restored, maintaining character and grandeur with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Warm colors combine with bold patterns to create a distinctive feel to Welgelegen, and the high quality of the materials and the attention to detail are evident from the moment you arrive. African art is contrasted with contemporary furnishings, and high ceilings create a sense of space.

Whether you choose to relax in one of the lounges or in the tranquil central courtyard garden, take a dip in the pool or explore the city's many attractions on your doorstep, Welgelegen is an excellent base for your time in Cape Town.

OUR OPINION:

With an enviable position and fantastic views toward Table Mountain, Welgelegen is ideal for those looking for a quiet city location. It's only a short walk away from the restaurants of Kloof Street and an easy drive (or taxi journey) to the V&A Waterfront.
