With just two decks and ten cabins, RV River Kwai offers an intimate experience with a focus on learning about the culture of the local area through interesting lectures, informative guides and exciting excursions to notable sites along the river, including the Khmer ruins and temples, rural villages, as well as the famous bridge known from the 1957 film The Bridge On The River Kwai.
The open-plan upper deck provides a flexible space that functions as a dining room, lecture hall, lounge and observation platform, with both sunny and shady areas enabling guests to enjoy as much of the Thai sunshine as they wish.
Pandaw also supports some local charity projects, so by traveling on board their vessels you will be helping the communities that line your route and may even visit some of the projects en route.
Cabins
The ten air-conditioned cabins are teak-lined and offer 17 square meters of living space. All feature twin beds and en suite bathrooms, while panoramic French windows allow plenty of natural light to filter through as well as providing fabulous views of the passing scenery.
