Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your riverside hotel within bustling Bangkok.

  • Today, you will have a private guided tour of Bangkok, visiting the capital's key attractions, such as the Grand Palace and Wat Po (home to the reclining Buddha). You will use Bangkok's different forms of public transport — the Skytrain, which winds its way through the skyscrapers and shopping malls; the public taxi boat; a long-tail boat and, of course, the infamous Thai tuk-tuk. This fun excursion gives you fantastic insight into the capital and the people who call Bangkok home. Your afternoon will be at leisure to continue exploring Bangkok by yourself. In the evening, you may like to visit one of Bangkok's rooftop bars for sunset.

  • This morning, you will explore a quieter side of the city, as you wander past ancient temples to modern architecture, whilst sampling some of Bangkok's varied local delicacies. Visit an assortment of vendors, serving early morning treats, from the classic kafae boran to Chinese-influenced dumplings and dessert options that include freshly prepared coconut ice cream. The rest of the afternoon is at your pace, whether to take in last-minute shopping or enjoy a final dinner along the Chao Phraya River.

  • The Kanchanaburi area is renowned for its time during World War II when Allied POWs were used by the Japanese to build the Thailand-Burma Railway. Today you will gain an insight into this history with a private guided tour of the main points of interest, with a visit to the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre and a scenic boat journey up the River Kwai towards the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai.

  • This morning, you will continue your history of Kanchanaburi to visit the somber Hellfire Pass with a train ride along the Death Railway. The afternoon is at a more relaxed pace as you explore the scenic and lush landscapes of Erawan National Park, home to the seven-tiered waterfalls that sparkle an incredible emerald blue during the green season.

  • The countryside around Bangkok is home to a number of fascinating markets. With your guide, you will visit a popular railway market, where vendors sell their produce and goods alongside a working railway line. You will then continue onto the area's most authentic floating market where locals continue to arrive by boat to sell their fresh produce. Stay overnight in the small town of Amphawa, with its popular canal walkways.

  • This morning, you will be transferred to the Kui Buri National Park, one of the main national parks, to spot Thailand's national animal, the elephant, in the wild. Joining a local ranger, embark on a jeep tour through the park, as you track prints and any signs of foliage disturbance to find these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

  • This morning you will enjoy sunrise over the park at one of the ranger stations before going on a guided tour of the local community to gain an insight into the lives of the local families. Alternatively, you could join an early morning trek within the national park for further wildlife-spotting opportunities. After lunch, you will transfer to the coastal town of Hua Hin, the summer residence for the Thai royal family and your beachside stay.

  • Spend your final few days enjoying the golden sands of Hua Hin and the charming facilities of the Devasom, which creates an intimate and homely ambience. Enjoy the complimentary activities on offer, such as a Thai dessert workshop and test your hand at creating a popular dish.

  • Day at leisure to relax or enjoy the resort or the local area. Perhaps go further afield on a day trip to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park to find a hidden temple built into the rocky interior. In the evening, we recommend visiting Hua Hin's night market to scout for street food and souvenirs.

  • Enjoy your final day at leisure, taking in a sunrise yoga session or simply relaxing by the hotel's infinity pool. Or end your trip with a beachside dinner overlooking the bay.

  • This morning, travel along the Gulf of Thailand coastline, as you transfer back to Bangkok Airport for your onward flight home.
