This small lodge is situated overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, close to the Munyanga River. All of the rooms are suites, most are superior suites and there is one presidential suite which has two en suite bedrooms, making it ideal for families.

The superior suites are all spacious with large glass doors leading onto a balcony where you can relax and enjoy the views. All have mosquito nets around the beds and a spacious en suite bathroom with shower. The main lodge has tall ceilings with a thatch roof, a large terrace where breakfast is served, and a dining room with fireplaces. There is also a gift shop as well as a lounge area with a library of books, portable DVD players and a DVD library and board games. Meals are à la carte and afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes and pastries is served each afternoon — ideal after a long day trekking to see the gorillas.

As well as the obvious attraction of visiting the mountain gorillas, there are other excursions to fill your days here. These include guided bird walks, nature walks, visits to the lodge's vegetable garden or a visit to the Batwa pygmy community nearby.
