From wind-swept hilltops to thickly forested valleys, discover ancient Welsh landscapes in a modern way.
With its rocky moorland and untamed woodland, north Pembrokeshire is a land ideal for adventure. On this tour, you’ll explore some of the lesser-known biking routes that traverse the wild landscape of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. In the care of a local guide who has been riding in the region for years, you’ll cycle up and down the undulating, heather-covered slopes of the Preseli hills and through secluded shady forests. All on a top-of-the-range electric mountain bike.
Taking to the trails on an e-bike makes it easier and faster to ascend the region’s lofty summits, giving you more time to soak up the sweeping coastal views from the top. As you do so, your expert guide will tell you more about the history, geography, and legends of the surrounding area, before leading you to the next spot.
Tours begin and end in the coastal village of Newport. Once you’ve donned your helmet, your guide will start the session with a quick test ride to gauge your proficiency level and adapt the route and pace accordingly. Both half-day tours (three hours) and full-day tours (seven hours) are available. Half-day options can be in either the morning or the afternoon, while full-day adventures include time to stop for lunch at a local cafe or pub.
