La Tourelle Resort

Beginning life as a 19th-century farmhouse and barn set amidst 70 acres of farmland, La Tourelle was acquired in 1965 by the Wiggins family who over the years have created a charming, family-run resort located on the edge of Upper Buttermilk Falls State Park and Finger Lakes wine country.

The 55 rooms are warmly decorated in a traditional style and all offer lovely views over the surrounding countryside in addition to cable TV, DVD player, coffee maker, complimentary Wi-Fi and mini fridge.

The resort also features the August Moon Spa and two restaurants: Simply Red Bistro caters for those in search of a unique dining experience, blending locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients with more exotic flavors; the John Thomas Steakhouse meanwhile lives up to its name by offering a varied selection of steaks and seafood.
