This lodge is located high on the banks of the Colorado River, alongside some of the river's best white-water rapids and at the foot of soaring red rock cliffs. The rugged landscape that surrounds the lodge may look familiar — it's been used in many Hollywood blockbusters, including John Ford's 1950 Western classic, Rio Grande.
Just 15 miles away from the town of Moab, the lodge offers a wealth of attractions, from horse riding, mountain biking, white-water rafting and hiking, to an outdoor pool and spa, tennis and volleyball courts, and an exercise room.
Great for families, the motel-styled rooms are spacious and full of character. Also on the property, you'll find the Moab Film and Western Heritage Museum, which hosts ever-changing exhibits featuring memorabilia from Western films.
