There are a selection of guest rooms and suites at the hotel, ranging from standard king rooms to premium rooms with ocean views or Bar Island views. Most rooms have balconies, but some are shared rather than private. All room types are surprisingly spacious, with marble bathrooms and in-room coffee makers as well as large-screen televisions and desk space.
This hotel is a good option for families as some rooms have pull-out sofa beds, perfect for young children.

Harborside Hotel, Spa and Marina has an excellent location right on the harborfront, overlooking the waters of Frenchman's Bay and the Mount Desert Narrows. The shops, restaurants and other amenities of downtown Bar Harbor are just a short walk away, placing you right in the heart of the action.
Food and drink
The hotel has an Italian restaurant on the ground floor as well as a wine bar that serves tapas-style small plates. There is a pool bar, ideal for light lunches, and next door's restaurant, Stewman's Lobster Pound, is perfect for typical American dishes and fresh lobster plucked straight from the waters across from the hotel.
Facilities and activities
The hotel is perfectly situated for strolling the streets of Bar Harbor and also for taking boat tours right from the harborfront.
There is an outdoor swimming pool for guests to use as well as all the facilities at the Bar Harbor Club and Pool House which includes another pool and a spa.
