Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge is located in the pristine Nam Khat Valley surrounded by steep terraces and sweeping views of the mountains.
The property has only 12 rooms, each with a valley view and simple shower facilities. Son Tra restaurant serves up a simple breakfast each morning and the lodge is the perfect base from which to enjoy long walks around the area.

Rooms
The bungalows at the Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge are designed in the traditional stilt house style of the northwest Thai people. These houses are named after local products, such as the Rice House, Pine House, Corn House, and Tea House, reflecting the simplicity and authenticity of the local culture.
Location
The Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge is located in the picturesque Hua Khat Village, nestled in the mountains of northern Vietnam. The property is perched on a little hill providing views of terraced rice fields, lush forests, and majestic peaks. The drives from both Hanoi and Sapa each take several hours but are along some of the most scenic stretches of roads to be found in Vietnam.
Food and drink
The communal house, named Son Tra, serves as the main restaurant and gathering area, offering a warm and welcoming space to enjoy meals and meet other guests.
