Shinta Mani Angkor

Responsible Choice

We've hand-selected a range of tours and stays across the world that go above and beyond to be a force for good by supporting local businesses, educating staff, challenging local norms, or promoting conservation and biodiversity efforts. Your Responsible Choice helps increase the positive impact of your trip.

This recently refurbished hotel is set in the heart of Siem Reap's old quarter, within walking distance to the Old Market and just nine kilometers from the temples of Angkor.

Shinta Mani Angkor derives from Sanskrit, meaning "The gem that provides everything one desires." The hotel provides contemporary guest rooms, with 39 well appointed rooms complete with wall mounted TV, iPod dock and sound-bar, complemented with minimalist chic interiors and modern art. Facilities include a pool, the Kroya restaurant with Khmer and international cuisine, and a modern spa to relax in after a hard day's exploring at the temples.

One of our main reasons for using this hotel is the support they give to the local community. A stay at Shinta Mani Angkor also assists their on-site hospitality training school, the Shinta Mani Foundation, which is run to provide free hospitality training for local disadvantaged children. A percentage of all guests' daily room rate will be contributed to the Foundation to support their activities, and clients can visit The Development Centre or speak to staff about how they can make a difference.
