The Regent of Rotorua is a small, stylish hotel, ideally located close to the lakefront in the heart of Rotorua. With a small number of rooms, the hotel is able to offer highly personal service and attention to detail. The rooms are contemporary, featuring black and white decor with splashes of vibrant hues, yet still providing comfort and all the conveniences you would expect.

We think this hotel is ideally located, providing easy access to Rotorua's attractions in a modern, welcoming atmosphere, and is excellent value for money.

Rooms

Room categories range from compact studio rooms to spacious two bedroom suites and all are equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and iPod docking station, as well as a microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and crockery — everything you need for your time in town. The bedrooms feature luxurious linens, and the en suite facilities include a double monsoon rain shower or soaker bath.

Location

Ideally located close to the lakefront in the heart of Rotorua, this property is just a short walk from the town's vibrant restaurant area and the government gardens. There is also a large off-street car park at the hotel. Most activities pick up from the Rotorua i-Site which is a ten minute walk away on foot.

Food and drink

The Regent's own cocktail bar and restaurant, the Regent Room, serves Pacific fusion food as well as small sharing plates and tapas. Rotorua’s ‘Eat Street’ is also just a two-minute walk away from the hotel, with a plethora of good dining options to choose from.

Facilities and activities

The hotel houses an elegant cocktail bar and restaurant, which open out on to the outdoor heated pool area and courtyard, enclosing guests away from the city whilst still being just steps away from Rotorua's many attractions. There is a mini gym and indoor thermal mineral hot pool at the Regent, and guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, use of the guest computer, laundry services and air-conditioning throughout the hotel.
