The lodge stretches across 23 hectares of tropical forest and cacao plantations, which guests will be able to enjoy as part of their stay.
The property offers a complimentary cacao farm tour and free use of kayaks. Additionally, all staff are local and will help to arrange massages, snorkeling or scuba diving trips, island hopping within the national park with a certified eco-guide, transfers to the nearby Red Frog Beach, surfing lessons, fishing trips, bat cave tours among many other ways to enjoy the local area.

Rooms
The lodge’s seven rooms are staggered up a cliff with a number of steps deciding the view, each very simply but elegantly furnished with completely open walls offering a natural experience with views into the jungle, over the canopies or across the ocean. There are mosquito nets and ceiling fans in each bungalow along with hammocks.
Location
La Loma Jungle Lodge is located on Isla Bastimentos, just a half hour boat ride from Bocas Del Toro. The lodge is surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest, pristine beaches, and vibrant coral reefs.
Food and drink
La Loma has one restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food is served family-style, sat at a table with other diners to enjoy the seasonal produce picked from the on-site organic gardens.
