Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge is Smithers' only full-service hotel and offers spectacular scenery and warm alpine hospitality. The Lodge in Smithers has about 100 guest rooms, catering, convention and meeting facilities, a fitness room, laundry facilities, a sports grill and Mediterranean restaurant all under one roof.
The hotel is in an easy to find location with ample free parking, providing an excellent base for exploring the region. You can also make use of the sports equipment and board games on offer during your stay.

Rooms
A range of rooms are offered at the hotel with a variety of configurations. The décor is inspired by the alpine region with fresh, forest colours and wood furnishings. Large windows provide views over the town, or the mountains and local artwork provides another glimpse of the rivers and mountains. While simply designed, each room comes with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, and a TV. Several rooms also have kitchenettes or full kitchens, providing additional space to relax.
Location
The town of Smithers is located at the base of Hudson Bay Mountain, halfway between Prince George and Prince Rupert. The hotel is situated on the main road towards the outer edges of the town but still within a short walk of the various dining options and the visitor centre. The town is a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts where mountain, river and forest scenery abound.
Food and drink
The hotel is home to two dining options: Noir Kitchen, and Don Cherry’s Sports Grill. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner daily, offering a European-inspired menu. The setting has a lodge-style atmosphere with high ceilings, large windows and stone. The grill has a more casual atmosphere with large TV screens displaying sports fixtures and serving traditional pub food.
