Set in a restored 19th-century mansion yet styled with avant-garde flair, the Yndō Hotel combines the timeless grace and elegance of its period features with daring modern furnishings. Vibrant modern art, designer furniture and lighting, and plush linens and wallpapers sit seamlessly beside exposed stone and beams, decorative plasterwork and carved wooden panels.
The effect is impressive with copper, velvet and wooden accents creating stylish but inherently comfortable common spaces, while ceramic tiles line the elevator, and pops of rich purples, pinks and greens brighten the predominantly neutral tones of the 12 rooms and suites.
Although the Yndō Hotel does not have a restaurant, a homemade breakfast is served each morning and guests can order light meals from a menu at any time and enjoy them in the dining area or their room. The hotel sits on a side street just a ten-minute walk from the large open space of the Place des Quinconces in the heart of Bordeaux. Its central location near the city’s Triangle d’Or (Bordeaux’s affluent three central boulevards) means there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, along with shops, bars and the city’s main attractions.
We love Yndō Hotel’s chic ambience and modern amenities as well as its central location in the heart of historic Bordeaux. The luxurious rooms and common areas make this a relaxing hotel for you to unwind in.

Each of the 12 rooms and suites is decorated in neutral hues of grey and khaki with vibrant accents. Décor varies according to your room, ranging from the whimsical folly of the Crazy Rooms to the more tempered, pared-back style of the So Chic Rooms. All have large French windows that bathe the rooms in light and many have private terraces. Plush sofas and ornate lamps are matched by large marble bathrooms with Hermès toiletries. Air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, a flat-screen TV and an iPad come as standard.

A homemade breakfast is made daily for guests and includes breads, jams, fruit, eggs and crêpes. There's no restaurant in the hotel, however, guests may order at any time from a menu of light fare including soups, salads, charcuterie and burgers. Staff can also recommend restaurants nearby based on your preferences.
Facilities and activities
There’s a sunny terrace off the interior courtyard where guests can enjoy a glass of wine or perhaps take their breakfast in the morning. There’s also a laundry service available at the hotel, should you require it.
