Rooms
The resort features 26 traditional water bungalows built on stilts, each offering views of the turquoise house reef. These bungalows are designed with local architectural inspiration and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy the serene sounds of the ocean and the vibrant marine life right from their private verandas.
Location
The resort is situated on the northeastern peninsula of the jungle-covered Birie Island, just behind the larger island of Batanta (one of the four Rajas), and is approximately a two-hour boat ride from the nearest West Papua port of Sorong.
The easiest way to reach Sorong is by flying via Jakarta or Singapore. Domestic travellers can also fly via Makassar or Manado.
Food and drink
The open-air restaurant sits at the edge of the water overlooking the house reef, where you may be able to see various fish leaping from the water. Much of the cuisine is sourced directly from the island or made in house. The resort also offers a bar where guests can enjoy refreshing drinks while watching the sunset over the ocean.
