NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky

NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Located in central Amsterdam, NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky offers modern comforts, original architectural features and a Michelin-starred restaurant. An expansive property, the hotel is made up of 55 buildings on Dam Square. The 19th-century structures have been refreshed to have a contemporary feel, but still retain references to the past, from the carefully preserved features of the White Room, to a photo archive of the hotel’s history.

The grand breakfast restaurant boasts mirrored walls, a high glass ceiling with metal beams and a black-and-white-tiled floor. A buffet breakfast with made-to-order hot dishes is served here daily, while The White Room is the hotel’s premier dining option, serving a Michelin-starred menu, against a backdrop of ornate chandeliers and crisp furnishings of white and gold. The hotel is also home to a café and a bar for other options throughout the day.

There are 451 rooms in the hotel, all spacious with chic, modern decor in a neutral palette of greys, nudes and whites.

OUR OPINION:

We like this hotel for its elegant restaurants and central location in the heart of the city. From its situation in the Dam Square, the hotel overlooks the ornate Royal Palace and the busy streets below.
