-
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Mahé Island.
-
On arrival in Mahé, you will be met and assisted to the jetty, where you will take the ferry to La Digue island and the charming Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie Resort & Spa, where you will spend the next four nights.
-
Today, you can wander down to the main street, where you can hire a bicycle for a few days or the full duration of your stay. This is the best way to get around the island and gives you complete independence to go where you want and when. They come with baskets in the front so you can pack a picnic, and snorkel, masks and fins, and just head to a secluded beach!
-
If you are interested in birdlife, do take a pair of binoculars with you, as there are some colourful and unusual species on La Digue. The paradise flycatcher is extremely rare and La Digue is one of the only places left where you can see one in the wild!
-
Anse Source d'Argent is one of the most photographed beaches in the Seychelles and is definitely worth a visit during your stay on the island. The beach is just beautiful, with enormous granite boulders on the headlands at each side of the bay, and some superb snorkelling straight off the beach.
-
This morning you will take the ferry back to Mahé. Here a driver will be waiting to transfer you to CaranaBeach. Settle into your chalet here and spend the afternoon on the beach or enjoying a good book under the shade of a palm tree. Visit the hotel spa for an indulgent treatment.
-
There is plenty to do on Mahé, such as visiting the capital, Victoria, to learn a little more about the history of the islands or take a drive out to nearby beaches and stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
-
If you fancy getting out on the water, you can hire a windsurfing board or a small catamaran for a couple of hours on Beau Vallon Bay, which you may enjoy at some point during your stay.
-
Your final full day on the beach which you can spend doing as much or as little as you like.
-
Today you will be picked up and driven to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
-
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
