Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Mahé Island.

On arrival in Mahé, you will be met and assisted to your domestic flight to Praslin island. You will be met here by a private driver who will take you to your hotel to settle in.

Praslin is home to the Vallée de Mai National Park, where you can see the coco de mer palm trees, which are iconic on the islands and found nowhere else in the world.

The warm Indian Ocean lends itself to some great snorkelling trips and children will love seeing the colourful fish and maybe even turtles if you are lucky!

If you want to see another island, take a day trip over to La Digue Island today by ferry and explore this unique island by bicycle. Here you can see the giant tortoises at the old plantation house.

After being collected from your hotel, you will be driven to the airport to catch your flight to Mahé with Air Seychelles. Once you arrive in Mahé, you will be collected and transferred to the stunning Ephelia Resort, where plenty of activities are available to keep everyone occupied.

The resort has several swimming pools, a fully equipped gymnasium, a tennis court and a squash court. Non-motorised water sports, such as pedalos, catamarans, windsurfing and kayaks, are included in the cost of your stay, while fishing, diving, tennis and yoga lessons can all also be arranged.

Today, if you want to try something more adventurous, the hotel also offers zip-lining and rock-climbing activities in the forest. There are also forest walking trails to explore either on foot or by bike.

Perhaps head over to the capital, Victoria, today to learn a little about the history of these beautiful islands. There are fantastic markets here where you can buy some great souvenirs to take home with you.

You could head out into the marine park today to visit some of the smaller islands surrounding Mahé. St Anne is a particular highlight, as the marine life here is really superb.
