Located within the ancient city walls of Xian, a short walk from the Bell and Drum towers and the Muslim Quarter, Grand Mercure Xian on Renmin Square offers a comfortable base from which to explore this historic city.

The hotel is part of the Accor Hotels complex in the heart of Xian and offers a selection of guest rooms and suites that combine chic Chinese design with modern touches. Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant with an international menu and a lounge for snacks and drinks. The fitness center, swimming pool and massage service provide guests with a chance to work out or relax in an environment surrounded by courtyards and landscaped gardens. Rooms

The hotel’s 194 guest rooms consist of Standard and Superior rooms with double or twin beds, Executive and Deluxe suites with a separate lounge area, and a two-bedroom Presidential suite. There are 34 non-smoking rooms while many rooms have space to accommodate an extra bed for a child (additional charges are applicable). Designed in a classic Chinese style, each guest room is provided with a safe deposit box, satellite television and a variety of amenities.

Location

Grand Mercure Xian on Renmin Square is a five-minute drive from Xian railway station and a 40-minute drive from Xian Xianyang International Airport. The Bell and Drum towers, Muslim Quarter and the Grand Mosque are all within 25 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Food and drink

Xian 57 is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant where breakfast is served and an à la carte international menu is offered during lunch and dinner. The Lounge is a relaxed venue for snacks, tea, coffee and wines. Guests staying at the Grand Mercure Xian have easy access to the dining and drinks outlets at the other Accor hotels within the complex.

Families

Except for Standard rooms, the hotel can provide an extra bed in their spacious guest rooms to accommodate two adults and one child at an additional cost. A babysitting service is also available.

Facilities and activities

The hotel’s leisure facilities include a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and a spa. There is a games room and karaoke facilities as well as a bicycle rental service.
