A lovingly restored 16th-century stone palace built as the summer residence for the noble Zamanja family, this characterful boutique hotel overlooking Gruz Bay is just a short distance from Dubrovnik’s picturesque Old Town.
While one of the main highlights is the attractive outdoor courtyard with heated pool, loungers, and a Jacuzzi, there’s also a gourmet restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a sauna, and a library. A private speedboat is also available for those who want to explore the Lapad Peninsula and visit the nearby islands. Classic decor prevails throughout the hotel, especially in the 13 sumptuous rooms that all feature exposed timber beams, antique wooden furniture, stylish parquet flooring, artworks depicting original coats of arms, and comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton linens.
The service is excellent, with attentive staff ensuring that your stay here is relaxed and luxurious.
It may not be within walking distance of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, but we love the hotel’s charming location overlooking Gruz Bay. The elegant decor, gourmet dining options, and exceptional service add to its appeal.
