Rooms

The hotel has three room categories and one type of suite. The entry level King or two Queen rooms offer city views. The next category up are the Partial Marina View King or two Queen rooms, which feature the same amenities but have partial marina views and most feature a patio or balcony. The Marina View rooms face the marina and most feature a patio or balcony.

All of the rooms are West Indies-inspired, complete with rattan furnishings, warm colours, and rich textures. Rooms feature bathrobes, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffee machines. Fridges and microwaves can be requested.

The Marina Suites feature a master bedroom with one king bed, marina views, 55" flat-screen TV and a full bathroom with two sinks, a separate soaking tub, and shower. There is also a separate living room with 55" flat-screen TV, a sofa bed, large dining room table, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, a full bathroom, marina views and a balcony.

Location

Conveniently located in Marina del Rey in the east of Los Angeles, the Jamaica Bay Inn provides easy access to everything the city has to offer for visitors. The hotel is convenient for the local bars, shops and restaurants of Marina del Rey, but the attractions of Venice Beach are just a five-minute car or taxi ride away and Santa Monica a further ten minutes away.

Food and drink

The relaxed on-site restaurant, the Beachside Restaurant & Bar offers fresh, seasonal California cuisine in a beachfront setting overlooking the marina. The menu offers gluten-free items and organic breakfast and lunch entrees, including sustainable wild fish, and environmentally conscious farm-raised fish.
