Toka Leya, the name of the local tribe in Livingstone, is a Wilderness Safaris Classic Camp located in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Comprising 12 canvas and wood twin tented rooms, and three larger units with two rooms. These three roomed units, with en suite bathrooms and an adjoining lounge, are perfect for either families or parties of three to four adults travelling together.

All the rooms are stylish and beautifully finished, with huge comfy beds, air conditioning and great views over your private deck on to the Zambezi. The bathrooms are large with double vanities and separate toilet, as well as both indoor and outdoor showers. All rooms are connected by polished wooden walkways, allowing plenty of game to pass through the camp uninterrupted, and on our last visit we enjoyed the company of elephant and buffalo. There are watchmen throughout the night to keep the paths clear, and someone will always escort you to and from your room after dark.

The main bar and dining area comprises an open sided lounge with huge comfy sofas and tables for private or communal dining. The bar has great views on to the river, and there is a large deck under the shade of a tree where you can enjoy lunch. During your stay you can also relax by the pool watching the Zambezi pass by. The lodge has a spa and offers a wide range of activities, including a river cruise on the Zambezi, game drive in to the national park, tour of the Victoria Falls (about 20 minutes' drive away), tour of the Livingstone Museum and a local village visit. Guests can enjoy two of these chosen activities per day.
