The Suites offer separate living areas and additional luxuries, such as a Jacuzzi or plunge pool. The heritage nature of the building means that the accommodation has plenty of character, with the rooms varying in size, shape and character.

Location

Fateh Garh is located seven kilometers from Udaipur city and is surrounded by beautiful and peaceful grounds. The closest village is around a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and guests can enjoy various activities in the surrounding area.

Food and drink

Baradari restaurant serves wonderfully authentic Indian and local Rajasthani cuisine. The highlight is the thali, which can be enjoyed overlooking the beautiful views of Udaipur and surrounding countryside. In the evening, you can enjoy a cocktail in Amritam, Fateh Garh’s wonderful bar, serving international spirits, wines and cocktails.

Facilities and activities

Facilities at Fateh Garh include the Sansha Spa and an impressive outdoor swimming pool. It's a great spot for stargazing, while the sunset terrace is the place to unwind at the end of a busy day. The aviary houses a variety of birds, and the property even has its own collection of vintage cars.

Guests can enjoy a number of experiences from the hotel itself, including birdwatching in the surrounding countryside and sightseeing in Udaipur. Exploring the local village on a guided walk or simply relaxing at the hotel is a wonderful way to spend a day as an alternative to sightseeing.

Accessibility

Please note that there are some steep steps around the property. However, efforts have been made to provide wheelchair friendly access and an elevator to access the main area of the hotel.

Environmental and social responsibility

Fateh Garh has excellent environmental policies, implementing no less than 48 eco-friendly practices, including the use of solar panels, water harvesting and a wind turbine. It aims to generate 50% of its energy from non-polluting sources. Staff are employed locally, adding to the traditional feel of the property and allowing guests to learn more about the local culture.
