Rooms

The hotel has five room categories including a penthouse suite. The guest rooms are all similarly appointed and the difference is often just the size of the room.

Classic rooms are 300 to 500 sq ft and feature custom king, queen or two twin beds, Egyptian cotton linens, rain showers, air conditioning, Palihouse bath amenities, 40 inch HDTVs, desks, complimentary secure wireless and hard-wired high speed internet, minibars featuring Dean & DeLuca, luxurious robes, large closets and operable windows.

Grand Studio Residences are 600 to 750 sq ft and feature a fully equipped kitchen and separate vanity room. The One Bedroom Residences are 870 to 1,120 sq ft and feature large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large living areas.

At 1,450 sq ft the Two Bedroom Residence features two bedrooms, a king bedded master suite and a queen bedded guest room, a fully equipped kitchen and large living area.

Penthouse Two at 930 sq ft features two separate bedrooms, each containing one queen bed. Each room has its own bathtub and shower and there is an outdoor balcony off one of the rooms.

Penthouse One at 1,200 sq ft features two bedrooms, the master suite contains one king bed, and the guest suite contains two twin beds. The suite boasts a large living area, luxurious marble bathroom, one 55″ LCD HDTV and one 40″ LCD HDTV. Penthouse One also features an eight-seater dining table and two outdoor spaces — one balcony and a sunny interior courtyard.

All of the rooms are individually decorated in a palette of grey, white and blue, with pops of colours in the textiles.

Location

Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, Palihouse Santa Monica is only a few minutes’ walk from some of Santa Monica's most famous attractions including the shopping district of Third Street Promenade, the Farmer's Market and the Santa Monica Pier. The many bars and restaurants along Ocean Boulevard are also just a short distance away. 

Food and drink

The bar in the lounge serves a variety of drinks, juices and smoothies, and the verdant outdoor courtyard is the perfect spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink. Although there is no restaurant on site, a light breakfast and lunch menu is available in lobby lounge and there is no shortage of dining and drinks options a short walk away in Santa Monica.

Facilities and activities

Valet parking is $45 plus tax per vehicle, per day, or self-parking is $17 per vehicle, per day. Check in is from 3pm.
